Western Sydney Primary Health Network's (WSPHN) Mental Health and Alcohol and other Drug programs seek requests for tender from organisations that will provide residential rehabilitation services to people with co-occurring mental health and drug and alcohol conditions who are living in the western Sydney Region. It is envisaged that these people will be linked to the support services in the community before the end of their residential program that will assist them to transition back into the community to maintain their recovery. The service will require a multidisciplinary team that will consist of (but not limited to) psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists, peer workers.
Since 2002 WentWest has been part of the western Sydney community, delivering support and education to primary care and working with key partners to progress the region's health system.
As the Western Sydney Primary Health Network, WentWest is focused on addressing both regional and national health challenges. Together with health professionals, partners from both t he health and hospital sector, consumers and the broader community, WentWest seeks to identify gaps and commission solutions for better health outcomes.
