Tender Description
This is a Contract for the supply of all materials, plant and labour for the execution of the works as specified and shown on the Drawings and Specifications, and generally comprising the following:
* Clearing and disposal of vegetation and trees;
* Clearing and disposal of existing infrastructure as shown in the drawings and as specified by the Principal;
* Removal and disposal of unwanted debris/rubbish;
* Stripping and disposal of topsoil;
* Earthworks for drainage structures and to achieve finished levels;
* Earthworks and preparation of landscaped areas and building areas;
* Supply and installation of stormwater drainage pipeline and structures;
* Preparation of road subgrade, supply and installation of road pavement materials, sealing and asphalt surfacing;
* Supply and installation of concrete kerbs and footpaths, paved areas and fencing;
* Supply and installation of skateable elements as shown in the drawings and as specified by the Principal;
* Supply and installation of two pre-fabricated shelters, two BBQs, two drinking fountains, three bike racks, four bins, two bench seats, two picnic setting under the pre-fabricated shelters;
* Supply and installation of a terraced amphitheatre;
* Supply and installation of a Stage and associated Stage Shelter;
* Supply and installation of a large shelter at north of the playground as shown on the drawings;
* Supply and installation of shade sail and post over the playground area;
* Supply and installation of playground equipment;
* Relocation of existing playground equipment and the supply and installation of all abilities play equipment and nature play equipment (to be conducted by a specialist supply organisation such as ForPark);
* Supply and installation of irrigation;
* Supply and installation of mulch, turf, shrubs and plants;
* Supply and installation of line marking and signs;
* Supply and installation of water supply lines, including all plumbing pipework and fittings;
* Supply and installation of underground electrical cabling and lighting;
* Supply and installation of market power box;
* Supply and installation of Site Main Switch Board(SMSB) to remove and upgrade the existing SMSB at Buchannan Road;
* Supply and installation of conduit and pits for future CCTV cabling;
* The completion of incidental items, not necessarily shown on the Drawings or referred in the Specification which are required to complete the intention of the Works;
* Supply Traffic Management Plans for approval 2 weeks prior to start of works.
* Execute Traffic Management including:
All signage and equipment;
All personnel (i.e. spotters, traffic controllers); and
Any other details specified in the approved Traffic Management Plan.
Note that the use of portable traffic signals to control traffic will not be approved, and an alternate method of traffic management is to be provided.
* Pay all relevant fees and liaise with the relevant authorities;
* As constructed survey and provision of data in D-Spec, R-Spec and O-Spec format; and
* Any other associated works in strict accordance with the accompanying Drawings, and such other drawings as may be issued from time to time during the progress of the works, this Specification, all Notices to Tenderers issued during the Tender Period (unless specifically excluded from the Contract) and the Australian Standard General Conditions of Contract AS 2124-1992 and to the entire satisfaction of the Superintendent.
