Tender Description
Wollondilly Shire Council is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for appointment of Conduct Reviewers to its Code of Conduct Panel that provides Code of Conduct review services to Council.
The role of the Conduct Reviewer will be to assess, investigate and report on alleged breaches of Wollondilly Shire Council’s Code of Conduct by Councillors or by the General Manager.
Additionally, panel members may be called on to assist the Council carrying out the reviews of Mayor Project/Service Provision, where appropriate skills are identified.
Applicants should have:
* Sound knowledge of local government practices;
* Knowledge of investigative processes and procedural fairness requirements;
* Experience in investigations, law, public administration, public sector ethics or alternative conflict resolution/mediation experience.
Conduct Reviewers will be registered on a Wollondilly Shire Council service provider Panel and contracted on a case-by-case basis.
