Riverina Water County Council (RWCC) are responsible for the supply of potable water to the population of Wagga Wagga and the surrounding districts. RWCC operate from a site located on the left bank of the Murrumbidgee River floodplain on Hammond Avenue in Wagga Wagga.
The site contains the main Water Treatment facilities for RWCC's customers, a supply depot for RWCC's operational staff and an administrative centre.
This Tender is for the supply of sheet piling material for construction of Flood Levee Upgrade Works to provide protection for the site during future flood events with an Annual Excellence Probability (AEP) of 1%.
The Wagga Wagga Water Treatment Plant Flood Levee Upgrade Project will provide a improved flood security for the Hammond Avenue Site and improve the security of the water supply to RWCC's customers during future flood events.
