Water Data Loggers for Schools Water Efficiency Program

⁠⁠⁠The Schools Water Efficiency Program (SWEP) is a Victorian Government initiative available to Victorian schools to enable them to continuously track their water, electricity use and solar generation.

The program provides teachers and students with an opportunity to learn about water and electricity efficiency through mathematics and scientific concepts, such as measurement and data in a tangible and realistic environment.

Business and facility managers can monitor their school’s water and electricity usage to detect high usage, leaks and faulty appliances so they can be rectified, allowing schools to save water, electricity and money.

The program requires one contract for the supply, installation and maintenance of data loggers for:
* newly participating schools that do not have data logging devices fitted to their water meter
* maintenance of existing data logging devices for existing schools.
