Supply, Cart, Heat and Spray Bituminous Products – 13D

⁠⁠⁠1. The material shall be in accordance with the Department of Main Roads Specification (Form MRTS11.1).

2. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

3. AMC5 will be supplied by the Principal (TMR). S0.3B is to be supplied by the tenderer.

4. The tender for this AMC5 item is for cartage, heating and spraying only. The bitumen is to be collected from Puma Energy in Townsville.

5. Provisional job chainages are 0.400km – 5.506km on the Blackall-Barcaldine road, located 0.400km – 5.506km from Blackall. These are new job chainages, chainages in Appendix A section 2.0 are incorrect.

6. Allow for a total of 4 separate visits for Class AMC5 between Janaury and February 2017. The entire length of pavement will be freshly cement stabilised, so it is proposed to seal the 5.1km road in four separate equal sections, each approximately 1.25km long. It is proposed that these AMC5 seals will occur on a Friday morning every week for 5 consecutive weeks, this is to be confirmed by Council.

7. Allow for 1 visit for S0.3B in August 2017. It is to be assumed that it will take 1 day to complete the PMB works. Note, this PMB is to be supplied by the tenderer.

8. The AMC5 and S0.3B sealing dates may change and will be confirmed by Council prior to works commencing.

9. Traffic management will be organised by Blackall Tambo Regional Council.
