Tender Description
WDRC is seeking to grow and expand health services available in the region particularly with respect to aged and disability care. To provide a platform for an operator (or operators) to expand on the current services available, it proposes to seek expressions of interest to transition specific health and community services it currently provides. These services comprise:
- The provision of residential aged care in two accredited facilities and the adjoining vacant land designated for health related developments.
- Delivery of community care services and associated assets: and
- Management of community housing services, including independent living units.
Keen to ensure the best outcome for the community while balancing the economic aspects of the transaction for both the provider and Council, the objective is to enhance the likelihood of the provision of an expanded range of sustainable health services in the Western Downs Region.
