Pilbara Minerals is currently developing its 100% owned Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum deposit located south of Port Hedland in WA’s Pilbara region.
The purpose of this brief is to outline the Scope of Work for construction of a “Mine Operations Building Facility” located at the Pilgangoora site adjacent to the processing plant (refer Figure 1 and 2).
The Contractor must construct the Mine Operations Buildings as outlined below:
* A Warehouse, Maintenance Workshop with overhead crane and Laboratory - nominal building floorplan totaling 672 m2
* Pre-fabricated office buildings/ablutions - nom. building floorplan totaling 1,015m2
The Works consists of all necessary activities including, but not limited to the following: mobilisation and demobilisation, engineering/design, shire approvals, off-site supply and fabrication, transport, supply of all plant, labour, materials (other than those which the Company may supply), equipment, concrete civil, structural mechanical, piping and electrical works, testing, commissioning and handover.
The Company has a requirement that all Works must comply with Safety, Environmental and Heritage requirements. All Works must be performed in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 (WA).
