MIWB will be installing new infrastructure buildings at the Mount Isa Terminal Reservoir (MITR), May Downs Road, Mt Isa. This will comprise a chlorine storage shed, to house full and empty 920kg drums, and a spares parts warehouse.

Total works is for the shed design, supply and optional installation of two sheds. If undertaken, construction includes detail earthworks, concrete, building installation to lockup stage, and all works associated with the construction.

All buildings will require building design and construction approval in accordance with Section 10 of the Building Act 1975, to be coordinated through a QBCC Licenced Building Certifier to be engaged by the Customer. Building compliance processes will still apply if it is deemed certification is not required.

All electrical works including building GPO and lighting installation, will be supplied by others.

Concept design for the sheds has already been completed by the Principal.

The Scope of work covers the provision of all design, and materials supply for the sheds. Installation (if) undertaken will include project management, labour, materials, plant, equipment, permits and services required to satisfactorily complete the works.
