Cybersecurity Support - Radio Systems Replacement

⁠⁠⁠The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is currently undertaking a Radio Systems Replacement (RSR) Project to be implemented between 2016 and 2020 in order to replace PTA’s existing 400 MHz analogue radio system with a modern Digital Radio System (DRS) operating in the 1800 MHz band. The new DRS is planned to cover the Perth metropolitan railway network consisting of approximately 180 kilometres of double track narrow gauge railway electrified to 25kV.

The PTA intents to engage an experienced consultant to examine the cybersecurity implications and associated risks to ensure the new systems are designed, built and operated in a manner which mitigates these risks.
