Engagement of a Lead Consultant to Develop RidgeWalk Master Plan

⁠⁠⁠The Yarra Ranges Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the Engagement of a Lead Consultant to develop the RidgeWalk Master Plan.

Project Vision
RidgeWalk, a 26km walking track across the Dandenong Ranges, will create a historical, cultural, educational and tourism experience that becomes an integral part of the communities who live, work and visit the area. It will be a destination for exploration of the art, landscape, townships and heritage of the region. It will be a connector of people, places, ideas and times. It will present engaging heritage interpretations and establish new spaces for education, cultural expression and social gathering.

The Master Plan Deliverables are:

1. Phase One: Framework Plan including:

• Detailed Map of Route:
• Infrastructure Plan and Concept Designs:
• Concept designs and activation plan for key nodes (3-4) and intervention sites (up to 12)

1. 2. Phase Two: Detailed Design

The client’s strong preference is for the project to be completed by no later than 1 July 2018.

Council intends to select one (1) tenderer for the whole Contract.

Tenderers are required to submit a Lump Sum with a breakdown as detailed in Schedule 2 – Pricing Schedule.

Tenders must be received by the TENDER CLOSING DATE.
