Development of Land Adjacent to Whyalla Central Sub Station

⁠⁠⁠EOI 2017-005 - The Corporation of The City Of Whyalla invites proposals from Registrants to develop land owned by Council, being a portion of allotment 503, Deposited Plan 88982, situated between the Whyalla golf course and the Whyalla central sub-station.

Following enquiries from potential proponents, the City of Whyalla (the ‘Council’) is seeking Expressions of Interest followed by detailed proposals to invest and develop land owned by the Council, being a portion of allotment 503, Deposited Plan 88982, situated between the Whyalla Golf Course and the Whyalla central sub-station.

The Council is seeking to attract a proposal to the site that capitalises on its proximity to the Whyalla central sub-station and can deliver significant employment outcomes post-construction, all the while of an appropriate size and scale having regard to the site’s distinctive characteristics, position, topography, vegetation exposure to view from all directions including the adjacent Lincoln Highway, and open character.

There are two non-mandatory briefings as follows:
The non-mandatory briefing and site visit will be held opposite the intersection of Industry Drive and Arthur Glennie Drive, Whyalla Barson, South Australia on:
* Wednesday 27 September 2017 - 9.30am to 10.30am (ACST); and
* Friday 29 September 2017 - 11.30am to 12.30pm (ACST)
