Provision of Footpath and Kerb Maintenance and Response Works

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons/organisations, for the following contract.

Council is seeking to significantly improve the condition of its surface assets (footpaths, kerb and channel and vehicle crossings) under this contract through a combination of managed programmed and response maintenance. High use areas or paving that requires immediate repair will be of high priority.

The Contract term shall be for a period of three (3) years with the option to extend up to one (1) further 30 month period (two years and six months). Exercising of the optional extension period shall be at the sole discretion of Council and subject to the contractor’s satisfactory performance during the initial contract period.

The proposed commencement of the contract is 1 January 2018 with a completion date of 31 December 2020.
