Construct Offshore Work Vessel – 2C Certified

⁠⁠⁠The vessel must be suitable to perform a range of marine park and research tasks in coastal and offshore environments. These include:

* Mooring deployment, retrieval and servicing
* Zone marker deployment, retrieval and servicing
* Occupational SCUBA diving
* Wildlife Incident Response
* Baited Remote Underwater Video deployment, retrieval and servicing
* Acoustic telemetry deployment, retrieval and servicing
* Other general marine park duties as they arise

There are certain design elements that need to be planned specifically with the manufacturer to ensure Work Health and Safety issues and engineering issues/designs are addressed. In addition to the specific tasks the vessel will be used to fulfil, this vessel will be used to cross coastal bars and operate in offshore conditions, making the selection of the right type of vessel imperative.

To be fit for the above purposes, the vessel will require the following design features:

* Plate aluminium construction
* Trailerable with standard towing vehicles
* Walk-through transom with boarding ladder
* Side door for deployment and retrieval of infrastructure
* Lifting davit
* Maximum achievable deck space
* Approx. 8m LOA to allow for storage
