The Surf Coast Shire Council invites tender from suitably experienced and qualified contractors for the provision of tree maintenance services.

Council seeks to appoint a panel of contractors to provide this service, but reserves the right to award the contract to a single provider. Council provides no guarantee of the volume or frequency of work during the contracted period.

The contract will operate on a schedule of rates basis, commencing on 1 November, 2017 for a two year period, with the option to extend for up to a further two years.

Services to be delivered under the contract may include urban and rural tree trimming programs along the road network, and reactive programs which may include stump grinding, electrical line clearance, tree removal and fire prevention works.

Council requires as a minimum, at least one member of the contractor's work crew delivering the services to hold a Certificate III in Arboriculture or equivalent.
