Tender Description
Council has resolved to invite interested members of the community to serve on a Community Reference Group to oversee the process for preparing a Noise Management Plan and Fly Neighbourly Agreement for Kempsey Airport. The role of the Reference Group will be to:
* Provide input to developing a consultancy brief to prepare a Noise Management Plan and Fly Neighbourly Agreement for Kempsey Airport
* Assist in developing selection criteria for the appointment of a specialist consultant
* Evaluate the EOIs against the selection criteria
* Review the consultancy deliverables (milestone reports, drafts and final draft Noise Management Plan and recommended FNA)
* Review the draft Council report seeking endorsement of the draft plan and Fly Neighbourly Agreement for the purposes of formal public exhibition
* Review all submissions received and have input to the draft Council report for adoption of any recommended final Noise Management Plan and Fly Neighbourly Agreement
Any member of the community interested in serving on the Community Reference Group is invited to submit an Expression of Interest, including:
* Your name and address including telephone number and email details
* The reason you wish to serve on the Community Reference Group
* Although not specifically required, any relevant qualifications or experience
Successful applicants will represent a broad cross section of the community.
Expressions of Interest may be submitted in writing up to 4:30pm on Friday 15 September 2017 addressed to the General Manager, Kempsey Shire Council, PO Box 3078, West Kempsey NSW 2440 or electronically to ksc@kempsey.nsw.gov.au.
