Supply of Commercial Vehicles to Cairns Regional Council and Others

⁠⁠⁠BUS 264-0817 - Local Buy Pty Ltd, on behalf of Cairns Regional Council and other defined Purchasers, is seeking to establish a program to procure fleet vehicles that provides identified supply and delivery requirements. These requirements are determined by Council’s long-term Fleet Asset Management Plan and are focused on the renewal of fleet assets to achieve best performance and value for Council.

This Arrangement is for the acquisition of fleet vehicles. Tenderers will need to refer to the detailed program in Part 3 - Specification, Clause 3 for vehicle supply details (Variant) and required quantities for each of the fleet assets included in this tender.

The successful Supplier(s) will provide the identified new fleet vehicles of current series model and latest batch (aged stock will not be accepted). These must be fitted with all requested fittings and accessories, and be delivered to Council on the required delivery date detailed in the Fleet Procurement Program.

Tenderers may provide a variation or alternative for each Nominated Fleet Vehicle but only when models are superseded and only after consultation and approval by Council’s Fleet Representative.

While this arrangement is being established to meet Carins’ Regional Councils requirements, it is an LGA Arrangement which will be available to other Purchasers (as defined in Schedule A of the General Conditions of Contract).
