Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Balonne Shire Council is seeking a supplier to supply and deliver two (2) Large 4WD Station Wagons in accordance with the specification advertised. Suppliers are advised to familiarise themselves with the specification.

Scope

The scope includes:

  • Supply and delivery of two (2) Large 4WD Station Wagons to Balonne Shire Council

Contractor Requirements

Vehicle

  • The vehicle must meet the specifications listed and be suitable to operate in all weather conditions, on both sealed and unsealed roads

Engine

  • Turbo diesel or petrol
  • Fuel tank capacity, minimum 80 litres
  • Must meet Australian Design Rules (ADR) 30/01 for emission control

ANCAP Rating

  • 5 Star ANCAP safety rating

Drive

  • Full time 4-wheel drive

Transmission

  • Automatic with manual mode

Brakes

  • Ventilated disc front and rear

Wheels and Tyres

  • Alloy wheels, minimum 17 inches
  • All terrain tyres
  • Full size spare wheel

Gross Vehicle Mass

  • Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) not less than 3,100kg

Required Equipment/Options

  • GME XRS-335C Super Compact UHF unit and a GME AE4702BTP antenna and MBO42B foldable bracket mounted on bulbar
  • Window tinting, maximum legal limit
  • Reversing camera
  • Canvas seat covers front and rear
  • Rubber floor mats front and rear, including rear cargo area
  • Steel bulbar with side steps and side rails
  • Two (2) 7” premium LED driving lights, installed to comply with Australian Standards
  • Tow bar with 50mm tow ball, including wiring harness with flat seven (7) pin trailer plug

Year of Manufacture

  • Year of manufacture must be specified
  • Year of manufacture not more than twelve (12) months prior to date of delivery

Noise Suppression

  • Noise level in the cabin shall comply with the QLD Managing Noise and Preventing Hearing Loss at Work Code of Practice 2021
  • Suppliers' attention is drawn to their obligations under Part 2 Section 23 & 24 of the QLD Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Part 4.1 Section 59 of the QLD Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011
