Tender Description
Project as follows:
* Completion* of the stairs for Building 111 A by 31 December 2017; and
* Completion* of the stairs for Building 111 B by 31 January 2018.
Completion means the works are to be invoiced by these dates.
Construction and fabrication is not to commence until JCU receives confirmations that the designs are able to be issued for construction by the Building Certifier engaged by JCU.
* Establishing a building application for the works;
* Setting up of the site to enable access and balancing the impact to users of the asset;
* Removal of the existing stairs including the disconnection of services to the stairs from the main building;
* The disposal of the stairs with an appropriate credit for any recycling benefit received for scrap metal;
* Construction of the stairs as specified in the structural, electrical and architectural designs;
* Connection of the stairs to the buildings to ensure they have the required level of serviceability;
* Commission the stairs to ensure they operate as required;
Documentation of the stairs including the provision of as built drawings and Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
Provision of any documentation required by regulation including the certification.
Making the site good after the works.
Provide a maintenance program of 12 months including a defect management program.
