The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) is responsible for the development and implementation of the Connecting Regional Communities Program (CRCP). The CRCP is a $45 million program to enhance regional Victoria’s access to and use of digital infrastructure and services. The CRCP will build upon the successful Regional Connectivity Program to position regional Victoria as a preferred location for investment in new, regional-focused digital technologies.
DEDJTR is seeking strategic advice on regional telecommunications to facilitate delivery of the CRCP. The department will require strategic advice in its engagement with the Commonwealth Government, Regional Partnerships (including the communities they represent) and the telecommunications industry during both the development and implementation phases of the CRCP. DEDJTR will also require commercial advice on the development and implementation of market engagement strategy and negotiation strategy.
