Corrections Victoria (CV), a business unit of the Department of Justice and Regulation, requires the services of a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredited pathology service provider to deliver state-wide drug and alcohol testing services for prisoners and offenders.

The testing services are required at the following facilities:
Public correctional facilities
There are 11 public prisons and one transition centre. Testing samples are collected by CV staff and offerers will be required to collect the test samples from 15 locations (refer to Appendix 1 - Prison Collection Locations).

Community Correctional Services
There are 55 locations across the state, approximately 35 of which are five-days-per-week operations. Offerers are required to collect testing samples from various locations throughout the state (refer to Appendix 2 - CCS Location requirements with hours).

Offerers are required to ensure the services comply with AS/NZS 4308:2008 standards.
