Expressions of Interest - 2017 Community Christmas Event

⁠⁠⁠The annual Christmas Community event is an opportunity for the community to celebrate the Christmas and holiday period.  In the past it has also provided an opportunity for local businesses to extend their opening hours to provide a “late night shopping” experience.

Council have included $10,000 in the 2017/18 Budget and are seeking expressions of interest from local community organisations and/or individuals to co-ordinate and facilitate this year’s Community Event which typically includes a float parade, entertainment (including carols, Santa) and stalls.

Should you or your organisation like to submit a proposal you are encouraged to contact the Shire to obtain Council’s scope for the event.

Applications need to be submitted in writing to the undersigned by Friday, 1 September 2017 and applications which identify partnerships and co-operation between organisations and individuals will be considered favourably.
