Short Description

Latrobe City Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Architectural Consultant’s Team to undertake the design and detailed documentation of the Latrobe Creative Precinct Project in Traralgon, Latrobe Valley.

Pre-qualifications

* Experience and success in designing, building, managing and delivering projects of similar scale and complexity, with particular experience in performing arts centre design.

* Experience in undertaking projects utilising Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) construction tenders

* Previous experience working with local government

This project will comprise of the following elements:

A significant regional performing arts centre housing a multipurpose auditorium of 750 seats and studio of 200 seats with associated front of house and back of house facilities and services;

Two outdoor event spaces;

A new facility integrated with existing Library & Service Centre;

A repurposing and remodelling of the existing Latrobe Performing arts Centre building, so as to facilitate cultural industry training and educational courses; and

Associated additional car parking.

Capacity to undertake multiple projects
Capacity to work with clients to deliver a successful project within the overall budget
Size of organisation and involvement of Principal throughout project duration
Evidence of financial capacity and reputation
Demonstrated ability to design and document buildings to a set budget
Ability to deliver plans and documentation within agreed timeframes
Proven ability to engage with stakeholders
Proven ability to successfully deliver projects under Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) construction tender
