Tender Description
The Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) is the leading provider of community services in NSW and the largest child protection agency in Australia.
FACS is seeking a provider to facilitate the delivery of Employee Assistance Program services to approximately 16,000 staff across NSW.
The purpose of an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is to provide professional counselling services for staff and their immediate families, which will help them to maintain a healthy lifestyle and work balance and to resolve problems in a confidential manner.
The Employee Assistance Program will incorporate the following: general counselling; serious and crisis incident response counselling and debrief, follow up and support services; manager advice and support; organisational change training and support; regular service utilisation reporting and an Internet based self-help web site.
The successful vendor will have a demonstrated expertise and experiencein the implementation of an Employee Assistance Program across both regional and metropolitan New South Wales for a diverse workforce. This may include the provision of specialist services for identified groups eg. Indigenous workforce.
The selected vendor will work with NSW Department of Family and Community Services in planning the implementation of an Employee Assistance Program.
