⁠⁠⁠Expressions of interest - Willoughby City Council Audit Committee.

Council is seeking to appoint interested community members, with appropriate skills, to the Willoughby City Council Audit Committee. The key role of the Committee is to provide independent assurance and assistance to Council on the risk, control and compliance framework.

Willoughby City Council is committed to open and transparent governance that meets the highest community expectations. To enhance the governance framework Council has an established Audit Committee comprising both elected Councillors and independent community representatives.

Selection Criteria:
Applicants must:
1. Be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills and abilities in business/financial management, risk management and/or business innovation/improvement
2. Have experience and demonstrated commitment in similar roles
3. Be able to commit to the Committee for a term of two years.
The committee will meet as required but not less than four (4) times during a calendar year.
