Tender Description
The department is seeking proposals from recognised tertiary institutions that have the capability to partner in the delivery of community language outcomes. The partnership should deliver a pathway to participation in languages learning for students, provide learning tools, provide support for volunteer teachers and provide incentives for students to further their education. The department will select the partner based on the offer submitted through this request for proposal.
The objective of the Community Languages Initiative is to improve the quality of the delivery of Community Languages by greater monitoring of participation in Community Language Schools, the provision of learning tools, and teaching and assessment resources for volunteer teachers and students. Our goal is to improve practice through ongoing professional learning and provide incentives for students to go on to further language study through to HSC. We hope to provide opportunities in innovative learning outcomes through partnership with the successful respondent.
