Tender Description
Technical advisor team with experience in Scoping and Definition design development, including processes to support design optioneering and development and documentation of same across multiple technical work streams.
The Design Services are to be characterised by:
1. A focus on Customer Centred Design;
2. Product excellence and innovation, sought from Australian and international expertise in the design of large scale transportation and commercial projects;
3. Integration of land use planning and multimodal transport connectivity;
4. A design process and deliverables led by the effective implementation of Digital Engineering (BIM/GIS);
5. A design process and product outcomes founded on Systems Engineering and demonstrated RAMS performance to inform design decision making and acceptance.
Key activities of the Scoping Design Services (Stage 1) are focused on providing inputs to the Project Definition Report and other documentation and design material required to support decision making (application of strategic merit test and multi-criteria analysis frameworks) by the Principal. The scope of the Scoping Design Services is focused in the Greater Parramatta to Sydney CBD corridor.
The Definition Design Services (Stage 2) includes all technical Services to a level of detail required to support development of the Final Business Case. This includes design development to support Sydney Metro through the INSW Gate 2 Assurance Review and CMAAC Gate 1 requirements.
The Definition Design Services deliverables will be used as an input for associated investigations, including economic, financial, patronage modelling and land use investigations.
