Bongaree - Bongaree Jetty - Minor Renewal

⁠⁠⁠The proposed works include various repairs and maintenance to the Bongaree Jetty structure and attached pontoons as specified in the project drawings and technical specification.

A brief summary of the specified repairs / refurbishment works is as follows:
* Removal of existing timber decking and replacement with new Composite Fibre Technology (CFT) deck sheeting (CFT decking materials to be Principal supplied);
* Removal and replacement of defective timber elements as specified in the project drawings and specifications;
* Various repairs, replacement and / or maintenance to timber, steel and concrete jetty structure elements as specified in the project drawings and specifications;
* Various repairs, replacement and / or maintenance to the pontoons as specified in the project drawings and specifications.
* The jetty head and fishing platform has been previously been infested with termites. Upon the removal of the existing timber decking a hold point is necessary to determine/ inspect the extent of damage and possible rehabilitation strategy for replacement of bridge girders and joists. The rehabilitation of affected timber components with be managed as a “Variation of Contract.”
