Federation University Australia is seeking to engage a component builder to complete a lift replacement and associated Access works at the Federation University Old Law Courts Building Camp street Campus Ballarat. Please see attached Part D Lift replacement, Access report and drawings related to the associated works for Access. The builder is expected to do a design, build and construct to meet the BCA and related Australian Standards .They are expected to obtain building permits and any other associated certificates. Please note that the Camp st Campus sits within a Heritage overlay.
The expectation is to have the Lift functional and Certificate of Final Inspection complete before the 12/2/18(students arrive back). The end date is crucial to the project , the other date that needs to be taken into account is the 27/11/17, this is the start of semester break for the students. The successful contractor will need to produce a gant chart of proposed works to minimise disruption to staff and students with consideration to the above dates.
The successful contractor would be required to work closely with the nominated Fed Uni Representative to achieve the desired outcomes in the negotiated timeframe and with value for money.
