Tender Description
Defence is seeking Design Services Consultant services for the R8113 Jindalee Operational Radar Network facilities project, mainly located near Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. At the time of issuing the Tender Documents, the scope includes the design and related services in respect of the following Works:
* Demolition of existing facilities and structures, at Harts Range and Mount Everard, including accommodation blocks, toilet blocks, workshops, training rooms and other existing buildings and supporting infrastructure;
* New transit accommodation and recreation facilities at Harts Range and Mount Everard which is to include provision for mains power connection to site and all support systems, external permitter fencing and lighting;
* New operational facilities at Harts Range and Mount Everard to support the Jindalee Operational Radar Network capability;
* Upgrade and refurbishment of existing facilities at Harts Range and Mount Everard including, store room, workshop and administration accommodation;
. New services and in-ground infrastructure including, water treatment plants;
* Upgrade of the existing Ionospheric Sounder Sites electrical facilities, and provision of lighting and power supply feeds;
* New Ionospheric Sounder Sites across multiple locations to establish electrical and structural infrastructure and associated facilities;
To meet the Over the Horizon Radar (OTHR) operational and support capabilities.
