Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project Export Facilitators (VG16085).
The objectives of the services being sought are to undertake a project focused on supporting Australian vegetable growers to meet export commercial opportunities by taking opportunities (thinking ‘globally’) and insights from a range of sources and ‘acting locally’ to support growers, exporters and other industry participants to take advantage of commercial opportunities.
The services are to help Hort Innovation to:
* Establish a network of three facilitators with each facilitator having a specific geographic focus
* It is not envisaged that the entire continent will be covered initially
* This may be accomplished by a respondent proposing to undertake one or more of the three regions
* Support growers to take advantage of commercial export opportunities
* ‘Think global’ and coordinate with other vegetable growing regions and the facilitator network across Australia to coordinate growers’ capacity to supply foreign buyers
* ‘Act local’ and work with partners including industry associations, tradestart advisers, Austrade, state governments, AUSVEG, Hort Innovation and commercial entities in a specific geographic area.
