Request for Proposal: Events, PR, Social Media - Australian Mangoes

⁠⁠⁠Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project Events, PR, social media - Australian Mangoes (MG17511) to undertake project management and stakeholder planning and engagement for Australian Mangoes.

The project will commence in August 2017.

The objectives of the services being sought are project management and reporting of the following:
* Press office (below-the-line marketing)
* Media outreach from September 2017 to March 2018 to drive media coverage (should include but not be limited to TV, radio, magazine, newspaper, online, social media, etc) and education on varieties and versatility of Australian mangoes. It should be noted that new mango recipes will be available in approximately October 2017.
* Mango Mess-tival event - a celebration of summer, held at the peak of the mango season (first Sunday in summer) in conjunction with North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club on Australia’s iconic Bondi Beach. The service provider is responsible for organising and implementation of the seventh Mango Mess-tival event including national media coverage.
* Social media (Facebook and Instagram @aussiemangoes) - the service provider is responsible for the development and execution of the Aussie Mangoes social media strategy.

The respondent is to have expertise in the areas of:
* PR/media, with specific knowledge in food media and influencers
* Event management
* Social media community management, content creation, promotions and paid media
* Campaign monitoring and evaluation
* Working with organisations with a similar complexity to Hort Innovation
* An agency that can manage the majority of this work in-house i.e. minimal subcontracts out of master agreement with Hort Innovation and is Sydney-based.
