Specialised Racing and Event Photography

⁠⁠⁠Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) is the statutory authority responsible for promoting and controlling the greyhound sport throughout Victoria. A key part of GRV’s role is the setting of standards, regulating and policing the industry and the people involved. With approximately 1200 race meetings held across 13 venues (11 regionally and 2 in metropolitan Melbourne) throughout the State, GRV distributes to owners and trainers more than $40 million dollars in prize money every year.

The greyhound racing industry makes a substantial contribution to the Victorian economy (more than $315 million in economic benefits), both as a recreational pursuit and as an industry that employs more than 3,000 people and generates millions of dollars in wagering.

GRV has the task of ensuring that industry participants fully understand their responsibilities in relation to the greyhounds they own and/or train. They support and encourage continual improvement of training and husbandry techniques through research and education together with a strong commitment to the ongoing welfare of greyhounds throughout their racing careers and beyond.

Furthermore, GRV also help care for those greyhounds that are no longer suited to racing, in that GRV has developed the highly successful greyhound adoption program that helps to place ex-racing greyhounds into suitable homes, where they live happily as family pets and lifelong companions.

The objective of this Request For Tender (RFT), is-
To seek a suitably qualified supplier capable of supplying Specialised Racing and Event Photography as required by Greyhound Racing Victoria.
