City of Ballarat is seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced companies to provide construction of the Ballarat Sports & Events Centre.
The Wendouree Sports and Events Centre was built in 1987 (then known as the Wendouree Netball Centre) and includes two courts and amenities.
The works associated with this EOI/RFT process include construction of a lightly connected (fire isolated) standalone expansion of this facility, including four new netball/basketball courts, 4 change rooms, amenities, cafe and a new entry, to collectively be called the Ballarat Sports and Events Centre.
The Project is the first of several planned stages of development on this site, and is to include allowances to support further works at a future date. Future stages are anticipated to include construction of additional courts and retractable seating to develop a show court function. Options for development of a second stage may be included in the request for tender attached to this EOI.
