Recognising and Responding to Abuse in Disability Accommodation Services Learning Program Delivery

The department is seeking suitably qualified and experienced parties to respond to this RFT to deliver in 2017/2018, up to 42, two-day, consecutive, face-to-face, Recognising and Responding to Abuse in Disability Accommodation Services (DAS) learning programs.

Up to 30 learning programs will be delivered to DAS House Supervisors and Operations Managers, and up to 12 programs will be delivered to staff from specific group homes.

The learning program will be delivered to groups of 20-25 participants, across a mix of rural and outer and inner-metropolitan locations.

It is anticipated approximately 840 staff, across the department’s four divisions will attend the learning program in 2017/2018.

Additionally, the department wishes to establish three, one-year options (2018/2019, 2019/2020 and 2020/21) to extend the contract to deliver up to 12 learning programs per year, to approximately 240 participants, across a mix of six rural and six outer and inner-metropolitan locations.
