The Moree Gateway is a new, mixed-use and high quality commercial estate designed to stimulate local economic development by providing employment, business and investment opportunities. The Moree Gateway is owned by Moree Plains Shire Council (Council) and is located on the Newell Highway adjacent to the Moree Regional Airport.
Council has completed the development of civil infrastructure works for Stages 1 and 2 within the northern section of the Moree Gateway. Council has also secured an anchor tenant for the northern development with the sale of a 30,000 square metre lot (Lot 1) to Puma Energy, a national brand in fuel and service centres.
Stage 3 of the Moree Gateway lies to the south and consists of approximately 420,000 square metres of undeveloped prime enterprise land. The property has the ability to directly access the Newell Highway and is adjacent to the Moree Regional Airport.
The purpose of this EOI is to provide an opportunity for the market to submit proposals to Council for the sale and development of all, or part of, this undeveloped portion of the Moree Gateway.
This presents an exciting development opportunity for land zoned 'B6 Enterprise Corridor' with Newell Highway frontage, access to a Regional Airport and in close proximity to the Melbourne to Brisbane Inland Rail line.
Council is open for business and is committed to creating economic development opportunities for Moree and the greater region. Council also encourages innovation on the part of prospective developers to deliver positive outcomes. Accordingly, this EOI is deliberately flexible in respect to the form and method of development and Council is open to consider a range pf proposals.
