Supply, delivery and installation of three sets of composting toilets at three locations within the vicinity of Duncan Road as follows:
The Composting Toilets offered under this Tender must be new, low maintenance, robust construction and meet required standards.
The three composting toilet blocks must be on elevated platforms with stair access, have a separate male and female cubicle, have stainless steel pedestals, have lockable doors, and have in-built air extraction, all of which must be included in the tender.
Each toilet block (containing 2 x pedestals) needs to have large enough composting units to satisfy 50 visits/day (18 250 visits/year).
The three toilet blocks will be for public use. They will be used by the local community as well as tourists.
The tender must also offer an onsite training package to ensure a smooth transition and handover of the composting toilet buildings.
One male and one female composting toilet cubicle as part of one building at three locations, being: Caroline Pool, Palm Springs and Sawpit Gorge.
The composting toilet buildings will be positioned at the following locations which are accessed from Halls Creek via the unsealed Duncan Road (see also map below):
* Caroline Pool - 16km from Halls Creek (3km off Duncan Road)
* Palm Springs - 40km from Halls Creek and situated on Duncan Road
* Sawpit Gorge - 44km from Halls Creek (3km off Duncan Road)
