Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Burke Shire Council has secured funding under the Building Our Regions program to complete the Gregory Water Treatment Solar Power Project. This is a two stage project.

The first stage of this project is to optimise current water storage and treatment operations at the Gregory Water Treatment Plant.

The second stage is to install and commission a renewable energy facility (solar array) and energy storage system to power the Gregory Water Treatment Plant.

This RFT (2017-03) is concerned with STAGE 1: the optimisation of water storage and treatment operations at the Gregory Water Treatment Plant.

This project incorporates the installation and commissioning of 2 x 225kL treated water storage tanks, concrete foundations for tank support (as per tank manufacturer specifications), associated pipework, installation of ladders and platforms for tanks, and installation of 3 x turbidity meters.
