Tender Description
This tender is for Contract No. 6 / 2017 - Cleaning of Council Buildings for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Schedule of Rates, subject to Rise and Fall in costs annually (refer to Special Conditions Clause SC2).
Council is seeking companies experienced in cleaning multiple buildings and the types of buildings listed. Tenderers need to be experienced in cleaning aquatic and leisure centres for acceptance for Part 2.
The term of this contract is for three (3) years.
The works under this contract will generally include the cleaning of all of the listed Council buildings, in accordance with the conditions and specifications.
Buildings to be cleaned are divided into 2 separate parts.
Part 1:
23 Child Care Centres (Kids Early Learning)
* 21 Community Centres, Neighbourhood Centres and Hubs
* Emerton Youth Centre
3 Libraries
Oakhurst Depot
Part 2:
Blacktown Aquatic Centre and Club House
* Emerton Leisure Centre
* Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope and Tennis Centre
Blacktown International Sports Park at Eastern Creek (Offices, Function Centre, Athletics Centre).
Council reserves the right to award the contract to one or more contractors in any combination of buildings, types of buildings or groups of buildings as it sees fit. Part 2 will be awarded to a single contractor.
Cleaning will be required to be carried out on each of the days specified to the required standard set out in the Specifications and to the satisfaction of the Cleaning Operations Officer.
Successful tenderer/s will be required to enter into a separate contract and execute a separate Formal Instrument of Agreement for the cleaning of each building which it has been awarded.
