Lihir Gold Limited (LGL), a fully-owned subsidiary of Newcrest Mining Limited, invites expressions of interest from experienced and qualified professional service providers to submit proposals for programming and configuration of Foxboro Distribution System. LGL conducts its mining operations at its mine site on Lihir Island, Papua New Guinea and the successful supplier will be required to deliver its services on site.

General information:
* Respondents will have a record of successful professional service delivery in heavy industry or mining sector.
* Respondents will have demonstrated capability to supply quality professional staff.
* This is an exclusive service arrangement for at least two staff spanning an initial six month period with option to increase.
* A standard form Newcrest supply contract will be executed.

Specific requirements:
* Services will be delivered at the mine site on Lihir Island.
* Significant experience with programming and configuration of Foxboro DSC.
* Experience in programming and configuration of PLC and SCADA. Preferably Allen Bradley or Schneider
* Experience in design and commissioning of control system networks.

LGL will invite shortlisted interested parties to participate in LGL's Request for Proposal (RFP) process based on the quality of their expressions of interest. To be considered, interested parties are requested to respond to this EOI by no later than Wednesday 29 March 2017.

* LGL may accept a late EOI and may request clarification or additional information from an applicant
* LGL accepts no liability whatsoever for an EOI not received dur to internet connectivity issues, transmission delays or errors
* LGL is under no obligation to invite applicants to participate in the RFP process
* In the process, LGL is under no obligation to accept the highest or any proposal submitted
* LGL will not be liable for costs incurred by an applicant in responding to the EOI or preparing a proposal.
