Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the following contract:

Provision of Insurance Brokerage 2017 - 2020

To be appointed as Council’s insurance broker to invite tenders as required under the Local Government Act 1989 (Vic) and Council’s contracting guidelines to ensure that the range of insurance classes required for Council’s insurance portfolio is renewed at competitive rates, complies with best value principles, and related guidelines and requirements. (Note: a public tender consistent with Councils Procurement policy for Public/Products Liability and professional indemnity, Motor Vehicle and Property Insurance (ISR) is required). Ensure that the Council’s insurance portfolio is fully underwritten by reliable and authorised insurers by 30 June each year.

The contract will be for a period of three (3) years with the possibility of a two (2) year extension.

Tenders must be lodged either by email to KCC Strategic Procurement at KCCStrategicProcurement@knox.vic.gov.au or in the Tender Box on Level 1 at the Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South in a sealed envelope endorsed with the description of tender and contract number by 2.00 pm on Friday 7 April 2017. Council is not bound to accept the lowest and/or any tender.
