Supply of Meter Reading Services

⁠⁠⁠North East Water (NEW) has the responsibility of providing water and sewerage services to 38 towns in North East Victoria with an estimated service population of 107,000 people in an area of approximately 20,000 square kilometres.

NEW requires the provision of metering services to be achieved through:
* Timely and accurate meter reading;
* Identifying and reporting water misuse;
* Providing Quality customer service;
* The delivery of professional meter related services;

NEW’s revenue is generated from volumetric charging of water consumption and fixed charges for water and wastewater services.  Water is delivered to customer via a metered reticulation system which requires year round meter reading services to enable accuracy of invoices issued to customers.

NEW is seeking to form a collaborative business relationship with the successful tendering company in order to collect accurate business critical data through value based agreements.  The successful tenderer will be an innovative company with proven experience in this activity.
