Expressions of Interest Panel of Code of Conduct Reviewer Membership
Liverpool Plains Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for appointment to a Panel of Code of Conduct Reviewers.
A conduct reviewer is a person appointed to review allegations of breaches of the Code of Conduct by Councillors of the General Manager.
To be eligible to be a member of a panel of conduct reviewers, a person must, at a minimum, meet the following requirements:
a) An understanding of local government, and
b) Knowledge of investigative processed including but not limited to procedural fairness requirements and the requirements of the Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994, and
c) Knowledge and experience of one or more of the following:
i) Investigations, or
ii) Law, or
iii) Public Administration, or
iv) Public Sector Ethics, or
v) Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Council will meet out of pocket expenses for panel members, including fee for services in accordance with the conditions of appointment.
Expressions of interest will close on Tuesday 14 March 2017 at 4pm.
