Annual Gutter Cleaning of Council Facilities

⁠⁠⁠The City of Greater Geelong is seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors to undertake Gutter cleaning of several hundred Council buildings to be completed within a six month period.

The Contractor shall provide all staffing, plant, equipment, materials and consumables to undertake the cleaning of the gutters as specified in this document and as per the excel spreadsheet identifying the locations.

The term of the contract will be for a fixed 2 year period commencing 03 July 2017 concluding 02 July 2019. There is the option to extend the contract period for a further 12 month x 12 month x 12month period at the sole discretion of Council.

The Contractor's performance under this contract will be closely audited to ensure a consistent high standard of services delivery is attained and maintained.

The gutter cleaning is classed as "high risk" work and contractors are to provide all access equipment necessary to undertake this work safely. A spreadsheet identifies the specific minimum requirements for each building and the contractor must ensure the works undertaken are carried in compliance with the relevant OH&S regulations and too ensure all staff have the necessary tickets to use the equipment.
