Supply and Delivery of Two (2) Road Sweepers

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking to replace two existing Road sweepers with the purchase/lease of two new Road Suction Sweeping units. Tenderers are to submit on the basis of:
Option A: An outright purchase
Option B: Include quotation/s for a non-maintained operating lease agreement on the basis of a 60 month period.

Council will determine the prefer method of acquisition (Purchase or Lease).

This specification is for the supply and delivery of two purchased/ leased road suction sweepers with diesel engines (“the Units”).

The Units shall be delivered unencumbered of any claims of ownership and shall be roadworthy and shall comply with the following operational requirements:
Tare : 8 tonnes (minimum)
GVM: 14 tonnes (minimum)

The mass limits specified are to be based on heavy vehicle national law (HVNL). Information can be found on the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator’s website www.nhvr.gov.au under the section of “National heavy vehicle mass and dimension limits”.
