Tender Description
Tenders are hereby invited for construction of an All Sports Centre and a Grandstand at John Waugh Park located within the township of Quilpie, Queensland.
The project consists of the construction of:
* An All - Sports Centre, being a purpose designed structure incorporating a gymnasium and multi-purpose area. The building area is approximately 300m2; and
* A grandstand/covered area of steel construction and concrete floor with a roof area of approximately 180m2.
The scope of work includes all associated sub-trade works including electrical and plumbing installation. Site preparation works will be by others.
The tender will be awarded based on an analysis of weighted selection criteria. Notwithstanding such analysis, Council reserves the right to select the submission that in view of all the circumstances appears to be the most advantageous.
The contract will be awarded mid-April with a commencement date expected to be May. Strict timeframes on completion will be required due to external funding constraints.
