Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre Solar PV Upgrade

Ku-ring-gai Council is located 16 kilometres north of Sydney CBD. The Ku-ring-gai local government area has a unique predominance of residential development, with a notable absence of industry or large commercial areas. It is valued for its dense tree cover and surrounded by steep gullies of bushland reserves and national parks.

The tender objective is to engage a suitably experienced solar PV installer to implement a commercial scale solar PV system at the Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre (KFAC).

Council invites tenders from companies that hold experience in the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems. We are seeking to have onsite works commencing in the first half of 2017. The work included in this tender is for the design, supply, installation, tuning and commissioning of the complete system.

Based on Council's preliminary design work, total system size is expected to be approximately 100kW or greater. Tenderers are invited to propose design variations that differ from Council's preliminary design. Where the Tenderer can demonstrate that variations are expected to provide a better outcome in terms of implementation cost, or performance this needs to be substantiated. When submitting design variations Tenderers should ensure such variations meet the performance objectives outlined in Section 4.5 Scope of Works.
