The Works comprises:
* Remove existing concrete floor slab finish (Ground & Level 1) and re-coat with new slip resistant finish as part of maintenance works.
* Decommission the Ground Floor accessible toilet to provide additional space to Library Work Room.
* Re-arrange the Library Work Room to better suit work flows and deal with existing OH&S issues. Include the accessible toilet as part of usable work space. Alter power & data within Work Room and install new joinery.
* Reconfigure the existing main Entry/Service Desk area and install 3 new customer service PODs (2x service PODs and 1x Self-Check POD) as part of strategy to have common service model across all CoM libraries and deal with OH&S issues. PODs to be linked to existing power & data.
* Document a Tender Option to reconfigure the public PCs layout and provide more display space at Main Entry. Will be included as part of the works if within budget.
