Summary of Specification
The following summary indicates the general nature of the Works for which The Principal desires Tenders to be submitted and is issued to enable Contractors to make an assessment whether the Specification documents should be obtained from The Principal for the purpose of submitting a tender response. It does not form part of the Specification and should not be included as part of the Tenderer's offer.

Purpose of Work
The works required under this Contract is for the supply, installation and commissioning of two new Unit Air Compressors at Vales Point Power Station.

The works also includes an optional portion for routine servicing of the new Unit Air Compressors, including the provision of consumables, for a two year period.

Note: The works in Optional Portion 2 are at The Principal’s option. The Principal at its sole discretion reserves the right to omit or include any individual item of the works at any time during the course of the Contract by written notice to the Contractor, with which the Contractor must comply. The Contractor will make no assumption as to the works content to be undertaken under this Optional Portion. The Principal reserves the sole right to exercise this Optional Portion.
