Renewal of City of Casey Water Sensitive Urban Design Assets

⁠⁠⁠The City of Casey has an Integrated Water Management Plan. The Plan sets Councils vision, values and targets for integrated water management. The aim of the Integrated Water Management (IWM) Plan is to create a City that is more resilient to urban development, future population growth and climate change.

Council is responsible for maintain stormwater/drainage assets that it constructs and inherits from new development areas. Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) assets are an important part of Council's drainage systems. The WSUD assets filters urban stormwater runoff and treats pollutants. WSUD assets requires maintenance and renewals for ensuring effective performance of the assets.
